Take the fast track from Aberdeen to the far north!

How does it sound to fly straight to Lapland from Aberdeen International Airport on a magical Winter Wonderland daybreak? Our exclusive charter flight operates direct to Enontekio in the far north of Finland. It’s just a three-hour flight from Aberdeen but the snow-covered fells of the Arctic are a world away from the Granite City.

Touch down in True Lapland amid the dramatic snowscapes – a perfect backdrop for the snow-covered wonderland that Santa calls his home. Once there, the huskies and reindeer are eager to meet you – and so is the Grand Old Man himself! Play in the snow and ride a snowmobile down a frozen river before your journey back to Aberdeen to be home in time for supper. What a day!

Perhaps you'd like to visit Lapland a little longer on a festive family getaway? Several of our Santa short breaks depart from airports in or near Scotland. Staying in cosy, traditional village hotels, your accommodation for the holiday will be a good base from which to enjoy the exhilarating activities this extraordinary region has to offer. We only choose resorts far away from the tourist track and cities of Rovaniemi or Saariselka – so with Transun, you know you'll be visiting the authentic Lapland.

Of course, our Lapland tours aren't just for kids. Our Arctic Spirit breaks are tailored to adult travellers! Spend three to seven nights immersed in Europe's last unspoiled wilderness while mushing an eager team of huskies, driving snowmobiles across the vast tundra, trekking through snow-strewn forests in search of the Northern Lights and embarking on other once-in-a-lifetime excursions. Deep in True Lapland, the frozen landscapes and enchanting scenery feel far removed from everyday life in Aberdeen and Scotland.
